On Thursday 12 June SEAT co-founders Laura Snyder and John Richardson each made a presentation at The Migration Conference 2025, held at the University of Greenwich (UK), 11-17 June 2025.
Laura’s presentation was entitled “Refusing to Let Go: A Tale of Two Emigrations.”
John’s presentation was entitled “Exit Taxes as a Barrier to Emigration and the Need for an International Treaty to Create Uniformity and Certainty Surrounding Emigration.”

Laura’s and John’s trips to London coincided with another SEAT co-founder’s trip to London – Karen Alpert. The three were able to meet for dinner.
And Laura and John were able to take a break from the conference to enjoy the view from the Royal Observatory, Greenwich:
